New mod portal seems to have pretty short life time of login cookie.
And when you are on mod page and login it redirects you to main page forcing you to search for mod again or use a bookmark again.

Works fine for me, do you have cookies enabled on your side?

I can confirm problems with login cookie timeout, 90% of the time i need to login again.

What is even more frustrating, if i forget to log in, and try to download a mod, it will show a login page, and after i log in, it will just download the mod without redirection, so i have to manually type address again in the address bar.

Well you wanted to download and it downloads. You can just press the back button and it will go to the previous page before you needed to log in.

So do you confirm login cookies are supposed to have short timeouts ?

I have cookies enabled but only from page I'm on.
It keeps me logged in for short time but not over night.

And is cookie needed to go back to mod page after logging in or it's by design it always goes back to main page?

I added a "remember me" option that uses a longer expiration cookie. Redirect after login required a cookie, but doesn't anymore. I also changed the download button to redirect you to the mod page when you're not logged in (it will directly download if you're already logged in)

Redirect to home page still happens for me on latest version of Opera.

Redirect to home page happens when doing what exactly? I might have not caught all the places. When you click something that requires login, you should see the next parameter in the URL.

I log in, go to rso page and then log out - back on home page.
I go to first mod thats on page, press log in and login - back to home page. Login page has no additional parameters and I disabled all ad blockers. Also added factorio page to cookie exception - still same behavior.
I'm on latest Opera version and it sends following as identification: I'm also using option to send no track request to pages.

Oh I see, yeah, that's how it's supposed to work, but I'll change that tomorrow.

Logging in should now redirect you back to the page you were on. Logout still goes to the main page.
