I'd really like a filter pump, like a filter inserter, that only works with a designated fluid. I'm running into issues with the mod LTN and while debugging them I keep filling my crude oil lines with sulfuric acid.

How would you imagine a filter pump in real life? Hint: moving fluids mix.

This setup breaks for two reasons:

• Pumps sometimes randomly? fill with a fluid when disabled by circuit
• The pump will turn off too soon due to rounding "error", leaving 0.9 fluid inside the tank blocking it for any other fluid. ttps://forums.factorio.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=49274

FluidBox.set_filter() seems currently broken on pumps, but if that is fixed modding one in would be possible.
I posted a bug report and hope it's fixed soonish.

I'm sorry to say but I'm not really getting what pump you are exactly talking about. There are so many filters pumps available pool pump, fuel pump and many more. I only know about the pool pump, If you want to know about pool pump then I can tell you everything. If you need any help then please ask in the thread section.

With the new update that removes any fluid mixing possibilities, this is no longer relevant (see the FFF #274).
