I have no idea how exactly this would work, but it would be nice to be able to build cliffs (for a price of course). Alternatively, there could be fake cliffs that look like cliffs but act like walls in that they are not indestructible.

I haven't looked at the code for cliffs personally, but I read somewhere that they're basically a wall, you might be able to make an item that places the cliff entity, just like building walls.
