Belt item disappearing bug

In my 16.x save i found a bug. I have on a belt on one side iron ore and the otherside coal when i turn it around 4 times iron ore disappears and it does this every time it's not a big bug but it is still a bug. the bug happens with every item.

Are you sure the items actually disappear? There is a known case where turning a belt results in items stacking up infinitely.

I noticed that the items would stack it not bug it is just confusing to see
