Can't craft new items

I don't know f it is a bug, but when I open the craft menu, none of the new items are there. I want to make artillery damnit!
Am I missing something obvious?

Did you..... Research it?
If you are using an old game where you used a cheat to enable all tecj then it wouldnt be there since that tech didnt exist before.
Need more info
