Water's an essential part of every rocket launch.
Not too hard to implement, although i'd understand you guys have no time to devote to such minute details. However, I know that the sight of a whole water system around the launchpads would make me incredibly happy. Suspiciously happy.
I always feel like the rocket feels a little bit too quick to setup.

It can be added as mod.

I don't think missile silos use water though. According to this video they use acoustic dampening tiles

Water can be used to suppress sound I guess. In no way it is an essential, or even required part of rocket launch. Soviet rocket designers placed their launchpads in the middle of dry steppe, and I guess they knew something about rockets seeing as we still use their designs today.
