[0.16.4] Player sprite disappears after locking PC
Posted: Sat Dec 16, 2017 11:10 pm
When I hit Esc to show the in-game menu (and pause the game), then lock my PC, then unlock it after a moment and resume play, the player sprite disappears.
Repro steps:
* Start a new game of Factorio, version 0.16.4.
* Press Esc to show the menu and pause the game.
* Lock the computer (Windows-L).
* Unlock the computer (with a Windows password).
* Resume the game.
Result: Player sprite disappears completely or only in certain animation frames.
If done quickly, it appears to remove only a few frames of the player sprite animation, possibly the frames that were displayed while the computer was locked. It only seems to remove frames from the animation of the player orientation when locked.
In case it's relevant, I have the game on Screen2, not Screen1.
(Sorry for the repost, but when I previously reported this bug, Loewchen moved it erroneously under Duplicates, and apparently he/she can't be bothered to rectify the error. It isn't a duplicate of any version 0.15 bug. It didn't occur until version 0.16. It doesn't appear to have been reported previously.)
