Hey!
I think i have an issue!
it's a little bit annoying. Since 0.16.0, i have a very long loading time, it's about 5-6 mins, no crash detected. I know its slower because HD textures etc., its ok, but 5-6 mins? :O
Game reinstalled, doesnt work. For sure i advance, i have the same FPS drop ingame (60 to 15 zoom out) but i think i can fix it with no decoratives. i have a good computer,
that's why i dont understand this very long loading time. Sorry for my bad english Anyone with the same problem? Good job developer team anyway <3

In your config file change:to Tell me if it does not work.

This is definitely machine-specific, I'm running midrange hardware from 2012 with no SSD and on that the game loads in 25 seconds first-time-since-boot, 8 seconds after. That 8-second loading in particular is a gratifying improvement on 0.15. Try in your config, it won't help the first time but loading the cached atlas instead of reconstructing it might help a lot from then on if your install's scattered all over the disk.

It always load instant 30%, but with cache-sprite-atlas=true, its load instant 40%, but then, the same very very slow load. before 0.16.0, was relative fast load. but hey! this is not the biggest problem in life, so i think i can wait a few more minutes to play this game maybe an ssd wil fix it in the future thank you all

Your graphics card has only 2GB VRAM, this is no longer enough for high resolution sprites, you will have to change it to back to normal: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=54558
The starting issue I am pretty sure is caused by too little RAM which results in it being outsourced on hard drive, but all of this will be remedied with the graphics change as well.
