End game spaceport, airport, space utiltiies.

The short of it is this: Instead of the endgame being building a rocket defense how about progressing to space travel yourself?
How would you go about this? Well it would first start by being able to build aircraft. (ideally both logistic aircraft like a C17 or 747 that would effectively be a flying train, and of course combat aircraft like helicopters and bombers.) Then you could research space flight which would entail things like satellites (better active map coverage), long range high-speed delivery rockets, ICBMs, and even player travel (and possibly a space command station to remove yourself from harms way).
