[Kovarex] [0.16.0][Win] 'first steps' level-02 crash fueling inserter

playing the package version. level 02 of first steps, as soon as i put coal in the burner inserter windows says factorio has stopped working.
got it to crash 3 times in a row in full screen. switched to windowed, no crash.

There is no crash in your log file, and I can't reproduce it in the Steam build on Win 10

Can you see if there are any other crashes etc. in any other game modes or freeplay?

Also double check that you have correct read/write permissions in the folder.
After you put coal in, the game will try to access an image from disk to show you the next tip, so maybe that's related.

If that is the case it definitely shouldn't crash from not having access to the image :)

i'm running it as admin (right click run as..) it's not in the program files folder.
it only crashes in full screen or maximized window. if i play in the default window size it doesn't crash.

generated a free play map, and everything seems to be working fine there.
did a supply challenge. no problems aside from me sucking at early game stuff. :lol:

Can someone please post a crash log showing the issue? So far the only one posted has no crash in it.

Not sure if there is somethng in the log. Factorio app just stops responding.

ok, was this fixed and not listed for 0.16.1? i updated and now it's not crashing on level-02.
