It is 1x1 you can place it on a transportbelt you need 2 gears and 2 iron to craft it and will solve some balansing problems.

There already is a lane balancer. It typically takes 8 tiles and crafting costs are 1 splitter and 6 belts.

If you use a loader-enabling mod, you can get a better one, which takes only 5 tiles in a straight line, with the crafting cost of 1 wooden chest and 2 loaders.

I don’t use mods but an mainbelt stragetie so most types are to big

It's part of the game puzzle to figure how to balance lanes (or how NOT TO NEED) lane balancing.
Adding a sandalone lane balancer would trivialize the issue into a non issue, thus removing part of the puzzle from the game.
This kind of things should belong to modding world, not vanilla.

Developers will never add a new feature to the game which can already be solved by existing tools without a major drawback. And bigger size is not considered a drawback.
Just accept it.

There already IS a mod that makes a 1x1 size single lane balancer.
