i think that 5 of a automatic insert for fuel isnt enough escpecially if you have a good supply of coal, so to combat this, i think there should be a changeable limit inside the machiene E.G Boilers, furnaces, to hold more than a 5 coal limit from the inserters. Thanks CC

Aside the mild OCD of it, if you have a good supply of coal why is it an issue?

I'll be honest it annoys me more when my conveyors have nothing on them.

i was thinking more early game when you are replacing alot of conveyor belts, i understand it may be just OCD but it could be helpful by having 30 coal in your burners rather than 5 that could run out, its more for ease of use and just a failsafe technique for coal automation for furnaces. but thanks for your feedback.

Why not just put a chest in front then?

If limiting was a concern, it would make more sense to use a wood box instead of the high capacity steel box - unless you were afraid that putting a wood box so close to a burner would cause a fire
