When referring to the "train position indicator" (TPI) i am referring to the white boxes shown on the rail track, when placing a signal or station or hovering above one.

TL;DR

Enable the player to keep the TPI active as long as needed.

What ?

I suggest that the TPI can be kept active by pressing a command key. It will stay active until this command key is pressed again.

Why ?

This feature would make it easier to see where a train, waiting at a certain stop , ends. It would make it easy to walk to the indicated end and continue building there (place a signal, add track, ...).

Right now, those white boxes show up any time you're placing something near tracks. Seeing them at other times seems a bit redundant to me.

But they are not shown, if I place a new signal. Then only those for the new signal are shown.
