Currently when you are typing into ANY text box, when a "server not responding" notification appears the text box loses focus. This is "usually" ok, unless you type any letter that opens ANY other UI element, at which point you lose everything you have been typing. For an example of how lame this is, count the number of "R's" in this text and you will understand.

Suggestion: Save the current focus before the save dialogue box appears, then restore it after it disappears.
