[Resolved] Tint Rail Help

Hi,
In my mod Bio Industries, I have two rail types, Wood and Concrete.
I've taken the vanilla rail images and using Pixlr, tinted the sections that have wood to darker to look more like wood and also lighter to look more like concrete.
As a result my mod is not 26MB large and the Wood and Concrete rails take up 20MB of this...
I was wondering how one could just use the vanilla rail and do a in-game tint of them when defining the entities.
The "demo-railpictures.lua" and "demo-remnants.lua" is a little out of my league to edit with these changes.
I've taken these two lua files and created my own -wood.lua and -concrete.lua.
Since you don't want to tint all the images, but probably only the ones that have wood in the images. (That's what I did above)
Help with this would be appreciated.
Thanks.
