[kovarex] [0.15.23] Map, contains id not in the dictionary (after removing Squeak Through mod)

Loading the attached save crashes the game with
Code: Select all
Map loading failed: Corrupted map, contains id not in the dictionary: 4098
I it will crash with the same error regardless of existing mods.

Do you have a save file from before it got into this state or any way to get a known good save file into this state?

Thanks for the report. I can load it with Squeak Through mod. There is a tree very close to border of two chunks, and withough the mod, the tree bounding box expands to vanilla size and causes chunk to be created during loading, which then messes up with rest of the loading. We will look into fixing this issue.

Figuring out such an obscure error this fast is really impressive.

Hi,
I'm getting the same error.
No mods installed, the 3 autosave files display the same error, is there a way to recover my map?

Thanks for the report. The bug is fixed for the next release (I could load the game with the bugfix implemented just fine).
