Make lamps mix colors

TL;DR
If I put color signals on lamp by using circuit networks, the lamp should mix them, so I can display more than just 6 different colors.
What ?
Reddit post: https://redd.it/6h128v
Lets say if I would be able to send color signals with a value between 0 and 255, I could put red(150), green(50), and blue (50) as a signal to a lamp and I should get a nice brown color.
Same procedure could be possible for cyan, magenta, yellow.
The white color could be used to increase/decrease/set the brightness or insensity of the lamp. The black color signal could be an inversed white signal (decreasing white), and gray can be removed.
Why ?
Giving the player the possibility creating is own colors, will result in dozens of new and nice looking setups with
- different colors
- shadows
- borders
- etc.
And I think it will increase the value of Factorio as a game?

I would very much like RGB-value lamps, but it must be done right for a proper display. Lamps should cover most of their tile and be the exact color as imputted (including pitch black if inputted), no visible grey lamp, preferably no 80%ish match like trains and train stops, maybe a completely different texture if "use colors" is enabled.

I really like the reddit discussion with GregorSamsanite. Take a look as there are some good ideas how this could be implemented.
