Can't change to 0.15 update

I know what I have to do to change into beta version in the properties.
However I can't becausefor some reason when I try to opt to beta only a thin bar comes up under and there are no options available for me.
Have been looking for a solution for a while and some people are saying it is because they have a 32 bit system this happens. My system is 64bit for sure and I can change the versions into beta versions on other games.
Any replies/fixes are greatly appreciated. Also sorry for bad english
