I'm unable to use middle mouse to filter the toolbar or set filters on train cars. This is on macOS, Steam, with a Steam Controller that has always worked previously.

Are you able to test if the same middle-mouse-button command on the controller works in other games? It is possible that a Steam update broke the functionality.

Never mind, I just checked my configuration and it looks like my configuration got changed to use mouse button 4 instead of middle mouse button for the filters. I switched it and it's working again.
