[0.15.16] Autosaved game freezes program

Thought I would try the new alpha build to try the new features. BTW, looks amazing!! Running into a problem though.

Started with a fresh game (Rail World template), after walking around the area, was about to add Burner Mining Drill. As soon as I Left-Click on the item, the OS freezes.

Try 1:

Fedora 25, Kernel 4.9.14-200.fc25.x86_64
Gnome Shell 3.22.3 w/ Wayland

- Tried if it's possible to run the game under native Wayland instead of XWayland but received an error in doing so.
- Switched to Xorg (echo $WAYLAND_DISPLAY returns "") and freeze still occurs, but does not freeze Gnome Shell. Am able to force close application.

No logs identifies when game freezes, have to force close the application:

Tried a few more times and am able to reproduce the issue on a number of newly generated world maps. Some I can interact with the toolbelt, some I cannot.

Since the log file shows nothing happening and nobody else seems to be having this problem I suspect it's related to your install of Linux or a lack of system resources.

I would like to hope that it's just my own system since I'd like to get started with this version, but there are no errors or warnings to indicate that. Also, the issue is not consistent. If it was a system issue, the issue would be easily repeatable.

My full log is below. Maybe someone sees something I don't.

I have done some more tests and discovered a few things:
  • If I grab the first item (Burner Drill), sometimes I can place it, sometimes the game freezes and I must force close, and sometimes my entire OS freezes.
  • If I grab the second item (Burner Furnace) instead of the first item (3 of 3 tries), I can place both items and continue.
  • Turning on Verbose logging stops the described issue.

UPDATE
Just downloaded 0.15.18 and can report that the described issue is no longer an issue.
