Hi,

on Steam, almost every version of Factorio can be chosen. On GOG there are just two versions available. At first the stable branch with 0.14.23 and the experimental branch with 0.15.11.

Why is the latest experimental version delayed on GOG?

Gog have a manual publishing made by GOG, whereas Steam has an automatic publishing whenever a new version is made available by the devs.
When an update is pushed, it is to factorio.com, Steam and GOG at the exact same moment. If you want faster updates on GOG, ask people at GOG to go faster
