Multiplayer communication - signalize location

Hi! Just played a coop with my friend and although we were sitting in the same room, it was a bit hard to communicate about building stuff and so on.
Let's put it over there. Where? A bit to the left from where I'm staying. ??? Okay I'll walk there and show you..
You know what I mean?

It would be lovely if there was a way to signalize location, like pings in league of legends for example..

You can place blueprints with shift click and in 0.15 map mode you can place map markers, effectively this is already in the game

I support the idea.
Using buildings for that purpose is not good as you do need to actually place and configure them etc. Also the building will probably remain where you placed them. Also placing them and removing them will consume much time.
While a simple map ping is a manually triggered game alert which will:
- Appear in every player alert bar
- can be shown on the map if clicked like other alerts do
- can be triggered momentarily by a simple key press
- are temporary and will leave no trace
- have a preset custom icon. Probably several of them like "Biter", "Eye", "Legs" etc for different commands.
