Not so long ago I wrote a post about the fact that I have low fps on servers: viewtopic.php?p=200423#p200423
I found a way to fix this by selecting in the Task Manager a similarity to one core. So my FPS goes up to 60.

Why is this happening?

The FPS increase because you no longer fall behind the server constantly which required the game to decrease the load for rendering in order to not get dropped.
I assume the UPS are better because not all cores have equal access to the cache or you get rid of the overhead that comes with load balancing.
