[15.12] Can´t remove curved rails

I´m currently removing a lot of rails and I noticed that my filtered deconstructuon planner didn´t marked curved rails for deconstruction.
I have no mods or anything that could interfere with this.
Similar report is this:

Did you add the curved rails to the filters?

you have to include the curved rail into the filter ... just search for it in the filter options
I hope this helps

Bug: When you set the filter deconstructor to a rail type, it does not use that rail's rail-planner information to include curved rails of the same type.

Oh, they are separate...
Didn´t know that, I only drop the stuff I wish to remove in the filter slots.
Thanks for the help!

They are seperate entities, so it is natural you would need to consider both when setting up a filtered deconstruction planner

Yes, it is. It is also user-unfriendly. While programatically it is totally different, this would be like you having to include not only both vertical and horizontal belts (4 types) but also all 8 of the curved versions, each as a separate type. The only difference is that belts all use the same prototype, while rails have to have two, which is hidden from the user and makes this unexpected behavior.
Sure, it makes sense why it is currently like this, but I can't see a reason not to have this happen.

It´s really impressive to see all the detailed setting the decon planner have, but you need to make it easy to use.
The expected behaviour is that all rails would be removed when you drop a piece of rail in the decon planner. You shouldn´t have to open the filter and add the curved rail too.
Would it be possible to change it so you either filter out curved/straight rail or filter the rails as a group (both straight and curved)?

As a side note, the Picker doesn't work with rails either, for the same reason.

Picker works properly with rails

I have used the decon's ability to remove only curves multiple times to clear/redo some intersection I messed up without breaking the horizontal part.
It's also great for removing intersections from a line when an outpost is depleted.
Just because you don't have a use case for it doesn't mean that the feature isn't used by anyone else.

It didn't last I tried it.
Guess I need to try again then.
maybe it doesn't work on invulnerable entities? That's the only change a mod should have made....
