I bought the game on steam and tried to create a game, but I could not find the pollution/enemies screen and the game mode select screen either (only resource richness). Did something change in these newer versions?

You're likely playing with last stable version (0.14.21).
If you want the latest version with all the 0.15 goodies - but at the price of a more buggy, and prone to change game, then you'll have to opt-in for latest beta.

yes that one will give you latest 0.15 version. it's autoupdated trough steam.

That fixed it!

On a side note, I feel like every patch has way too much content for it to be part of a beta, not that I'm complaining. The beta should just be the default version honestly
