Best Modular Armor MKI Setup?

I have the MK 1 armor, and I'm a while from Mk2, so I wanted to know the best setup, in everyway.

Personally, I use 1 fusion generator, 5 shields and fill the rest of the slots with solar panels and batteries because even though the generator is supposed to generate 750W and the shields should drain only 600W, the shields drain more than the generator creates when they are all empty.

I use 2 generators, 5 shields and 6 exoskeletons. This allows me to run away from biters indefinitely while being able to take a few hits if I make a mistake.

That's MK2, he's talking about MK1.

I go with a fusion reactor, a standard exo suit equipment, 3 batteries, 3 shields (I think 2 mark 2s and 1 mark 1, can't recall the balance point) 3 batteries, and 7 solar cells.

thats for the 7x7 module armor. If you are using the 5x5, I have no idea. I don't bother with it. it can't support much of anything useful, due to a fusion reactor eating most of the space, and the remainder disallowing any functional module. Might use it for some crappy shields and night vision, but you need like 10 or so solar cells then, and a few batteries to give a valid buffer.

Dang, you're right.
I usually don't bother with the MK1 armor.
Using the car, poison capsules and the machinegun I'm usually able to get plenty of alien artifacts to make the MK2 armor.

That happens to be exactly what I use. Apparently the MKI isn't very good.

Well, it's not as overpowered as the MK2 :P You can already destroy a biter invasion of pretty much any size with it, provided you have a shotgun with piercing shells.
