So, you can use the pippete tool and 'select' construction tour bots that are flying.
Then, if you place these selected bots by the pippete tool, they dont go back to the player, they just look for a roboport or stay idle if none in range!

Also, subject title should allow a little more characters.... not much so we cant write a full bug report there but more then now. Its kinda restricting!

That's not a bug, placed robots never go to your personal logistic network. Selecting them with the pipette tool is no exception.
