Hi all,



Quite a long time ago i remembered having more than 3 autosave slots, also in singleplayer.
Im playing on 0.15.9 and i tried to just copy a save and called them them like the others until i had 25.
I logged in and could load from them. Now i tried to afk a bit, but only the first three slots are used to create a autosave.
I saw the command how to enable it for multiplayer, but is there really no possibility to increase slots in singleplayer?
I even had a quick look in the program ordner, but i only found a autosave slot in a file thats for multiplayer =(

Make sure Factorio is not running, then open the config.ini file in an editor (found in the %appdata%\Factorio\config folder).

Find the line (should be near the beginning) that reads Remove the semicolon and space at the front, then change the 3 to the number of autosaves the game should make. Save and close the file.

I tried it several times now. By removing ; and the space it just gives me an error, which i understand.
I replaced the 3 with 25 saved and exited it, startet steam and factorio, but it keeps his max slots as 3. When i close factorio and look in the config its 3 again.

Theres no error now its kinda working but even though i typed in 25 it has auto save 1-3 and then 16-25 =/


** My luck i didnt press send now it seems to fill in the gap slowly, i just went afk a sec and saw a autosave slot 4.

Thanks for the answer it looks wrong without the semmicolon but it works!
