50% neighbour bonus on skewed nuclear reactors

When nuclear reactors are placed like so:

perhaps they should have a 50% neighbour bonus.

Ok, what would that entail?
As many have figured out, there isn't terribly much depth to nuclear reactor placement. The most efficient method is a 2 by n rectangle. A reactor can be surrounded on all four sides, giving a 400% neighbour bonus, but it is impossible to automatically insert fuel into such a reactor.

A skewed pattern with a 50% bonus allows for more complicated designs that can be tesselated in two dimensions. Example:

Such a 4 by 4 skewed reactor would have a bonus equivalent to 24 reactors, which is lower than the 2x8 rectangle design (whose bonus would be equivalent to 44 reactors), but it could be repeated along both axes. I'm sure other, more interesting and efficient designs are possible.
