So, I've got an old save for 14.22 that I want to migrate to 15.x. Most of the important mods I used have all updated to .15 so I figure its now time to bring the map into the latest version.

I've got a .zip install of .14.22 I had copied all of my savegame/settings/mod files into just to keep an archive copy. I wanted to do some housekeeping in the old .14.22 save I plan to migrate prior to migrating/updating mods but have found that the game will not load the mods because it appears it is finding the newer versions for .15 on the mod portal, despite not having updated the mods to my install yet.

Is there a way to force the game to load the local copies of the mods that I know are compatible with .14.22 despite there being newer versions for .15 on the mod portal?

I discovered that the .zip install was referencing the C:\user\user\AppData\roaming\factorio\ directory copy of my mods directory, which is for the installed version (which I have updated to .15x along with the mods there). This looks to be a result of me copying the config directory along with mod and saves into the .14.22 .zip copy I mentioned. Copying just mods and saves to a new .zip copy of .14.23 solved the issue.
