Since now the game has a built-in blueprint string functionality, I think it would be a good idea to create some sort of centralized blueprint portal, in a similar fashion to the official mod site.

Quality of the mod portal may be a subject to a separate discussion (and sometimes is), but I think such a system for blueprints would definitely help. Prior to introduction of the 0.15 update, lots of mods were providing the same functionality. Trouble is, such blueprint strings from those mods are incompatible with the new, official mechanic. Furthermore, several recipes have been changed in the latest update. Hence, the internet is filled with outdated blueprints that don't work.

An official blueprint portal could help remedy the situation, and encourage sharing of good designs.

might be a start for you. however the string i tried did not work for me, maybe you got more luck .

i used that site for .14 i believe it was for a blueprint mod that let us share blueprints.

I have no idea if its now incompatible with the in-game system


im really hoping one day to find a good train set of blueprints that works.

Yeah, I've seen that site. Problem is, these are blueprints for 0.14, not 0.15.

Yesterday I found some people on the forum discussing this matter, and supposedly it was confirmed by the devs that the official blueprint library is not compatible with strings from the mod for 0.14.
