Question about map exchange string

So I found a very good string I want to use for rail world but I am wondering if I can adjust the options. I want to have the enemies on as high as possible(which is survivable) so my question is if I use the string can I adjust the optionos or is that part of the map code? If it is does anyone know how to modify this to work properly? Any help would be rad.
Thanks

In 0.14 I pasted a map exchange string into the settings window and updated drop down boxes. The exchange string disappeared (the seed remained) and I spawned in the same place. The only thing that changed was what I wanted change: ore and coal patch richness in the first try and oil patch frequency in the second. Biome, trees, mineable resource patches (ore, coal, stone) placement did not change.
This should work with enemies also.
0.15 changes the map generation logic. Instead of picking a place for you on the map it creates a new map. I do not know how it works in 0.15 but I suspect that it could work just as well. It is worth a try.
