Had a player join this multiplayer server, where it says desync over and over and over and over.

Server was basically frozen for everyone because it keeps downloading the map for this single player repeatedly.

Please add some sort of limit to server desync bug reporting so that it will not do this, disconnect the player rather than repeatedly resending the map to them and freezing the game for everyone.

Their is a limit: 3 times. After the 3rd desync you're dropped from the game.

Please upload the desync report(s) somewhere so we can look at them and figure out what was causing the problem.

I am getting the same error today. No idea if it's related, but only started when I began placing solar panels.

Am using the latest 0.15.1 build in multiplayer. No-one else (3 others in the game) are getting the error.

Any help would be appreciated!

EDIT: Not using any mods.

That's not the desync report. That's just the desynced level. The desync report will be in the %appdata%\Factorio\archive folder and will be a zip that contains both the desynced level and the reference level + the log file.

Also to note, I stopped working on solar panels (including accumulators & a few base stations), after my previous post & had no desync issues since. While working on them, I desync'd approx 15 times with 1-3 minutes inbetween. I can also upload previous desync reports if that helps.

Thanks for the report. This should be fixed in 0.15.10.
