Belt Replacer...

So...I figured it was about time I tried doing this again. Disclaimer, this is version 0.0.2 and I will not be supporting it (by which I mean don't add it to your game and then update when I release a new version and expect it to work, or for me to make it work!), this is purely for hm 'display' purposes for those interested :) Further disclaimer: There's no recipe, no tech, and the 'replacer' is just a medium-biter (with the player's force of course!)... and it's a bit (ok, a lot) derpy right now lol, but it kind of works :lol:

SO, eventually you want to upgrade your belts from basic-transport belts to say fast or express transport belts, this mod is meant to be a way to automate that (eventually!). I even intend to allow you to specify that corners should be replaced with a faster belt (if available), but that's not here yet and I'm not certain how to do it yet :)

That's really cool. An idea, use the construction bot sprites instead of the biter sprites

Yeah, I'll definitely not be using the biter sprite for it :) It's just that right now because I needed/wanted a type unit (so I copy/pasted) so I could use the gotolocation command rather than just 'teleport' and I didn't change the sprite (If no one takes the time to create a cool looking sprite for me I'll probably just use a slightly color modified construction bot sprite)

so I uploaded v0.0.2, still not done (and still has biter sprite) but a couple improvements (and some that aren't quite done)
cheap tech/recipe, and locales
fixed bug with gui event being improperly triggered by other mod(s) :)
made replacer slightly less likely to skip past belts (which should help it follow belts better, still not great on turns)
replacer will now return to belt chest and wait when out of belts
fixed bug that replacing a belt with items on it would 'freeze' the items
known issues:
replacer gets easily confused by close belts
replacer sometimes misses a turned belt, which can cause backup issues if items are currently on the belt...
'done' replacers return to chest and then start wandering...
nearby chests can confuse the replacer, maybe I should make it a manual selection when there are multiple chests nearby?
