When I try to launch "Install Mods" I get a "Failed to connect to the mod portal". When I try and go to the mod portal directly, using either Google Chrome of IE, I get an error saying "Application error: An error occurred in the application and your page could not be served. If you are the application owner, check your logs for details" Anyone know what this means and how to fix it?

Issue seems to be back. Mod portal is way more brittle than I'd like.

I guess the portal is just under heavy load due to .15; I was just able to get through after a few refreshes.

If it doesnt work for you at all, i´d suggest to try it at non-peak hours or simply waiting a few days.

is there a way to check the status of the mod portal I can't even access it here through the forums link

I suppose Friday ~20:00 UK time is peak!
I can't load https://mods.factorio.com or the in-game "Install Mods" after dozens of attempts

the way it keeps either straight up error out or only produce a black page leads me to suspect that something else is wrong with the site. I usually get similar results with websites that are infact under a DDOS attack.

Looks like a classic overload. And the servers arent good, cause theyre shaky all day

A few? Try hundreds to thousands. I suspect the mod portal load this week is 10-50x its normal load.

i meant, of all the people trying right now, does it actually serve a few? Assuming it can when its not overloaded of course. But atm its incapable of doing anything what a waste imo

The issue is worse for me because of who I am. I am Bobsmods!

I can't upload them because the portal is foobar.
