[mod idea] New Endgame Scenario mod: Rebel FighterMission

This is an idea for a new end game goal, like Space Extension.
The story is that you are a pilot of a rebel fighter fighting a massive war against an evil empire. During a great battle, your fighter took heavy damage and was forced to land on a remote terrestrial planet. Now all your survival training that you've had at the rebel academy kicks into high gear. You've been taught subjects such as engineering, assembly lines, and mass production.
Your mission seems simple: Build a factorized assembly base to gather resources and produce parts and fuel to repair your ship, rearm and resupply it, refuel it, and then escape the planet.You must keep your operations small and compact, as you need to prevent drawing the attention of the empire that could bombard you from space.
As you do this you realize you are not alone here, and the natives don't appreciate you polluting their air, so you are going to have to fight hard to protect your base and your ship. If your ship is destroyed, it's over. There is no hope for rescue. Any rocket launch to launch a satellite to call for help or to build a new ship in space would draw the attention of the empire right away.
So that is my idea. I don't particularly like needing alien artifacts to complete the game as is, and I am looking for other ways of playing. Needing alien artifacts makes me feel like an invader instead of just someone who is lost and is trying to survive. Just makes no sense.
