[REQUEST] Marathon/Rso Scenario.

Hello fellow Factorians. I'm looking for exactly the title, I do know its possible to have fully functional Rso in a scenario. For example the "Multiplayer Individual Starting Spawns Scenario". Is it possible to have just a standalone Rso scenario file, then add in the parameters for marathon? even if just the .lua files were transferred? No clue what I'm doing here and any help and or completed product would be amazing.

No, scenarios are not allowed to use the data.lua file.

For those who find this thread, yes, it IS possible to use RSO in a scenario.
I did it and talked to orzelek (mod author) about it as well.

As long as the mod doesn't require modifying the base game data (as DaveMcW mentioned), you can actually use quite a lot of mods as "soft mods" embedded inside a scenario.

Soft mods that I have used in the past:
RSO
Tags (add configurable name tags for multiplayer)
Long reach
Gravestone
Blue Print String

I think it could be good to set #scenario for all mods that can be to scenarios added. Or another tag. And by mod portal too.

Yeah, I just wish the 0.15 would implement a new auto mod loading system that asks you if you want to configure all your mods (automatically) to match the server you are trying to join.
It really kills multiplayer modded servers. Which is the only reason I'm so into scenarios and soft-mods.
