Auto-filtering filters

When I build a filter inserter, I really hate looking through the entire list of items that I want to pull out.

If the filter inserter is taking from something, take all of the items that the object contains and outputs (if a machine), and put them on a "suggested" pane.

This way, if I have a chest, I can quickly pick one of the items from the chest. If I have an assembler with a recipe chosen, I can quickly choose one of the recipe outputs.

This really would make the quality of life for filtering much better.

Filter Inserters are used so infrequently (relatively) and when you do use them it tends to be a whole bunch but one or two different filter sets so you can just copy+paste. I think you can also grab something with the cursor and "drop" it into a filter slot but test before quoting me on that.

To me this is more an issue with Constant Combinators, very tedious adding 10+ signals and setting the value on each one, you can't copy values to other signals and setting a signal type sets the value to 0. All very clunky.

I think that this is more of how people use Factorio. I actually use filter inserters pretty frequently, but I could also see it being useful with signals.
