****solved*** just waited a few hours





I go to submit my mod and I get this message: Status:  Invalid
File: PulseRifle_1.0.0.zip (334 KB)
Server error: Network Error

Is it something on my end or are the servers having issues? not to sure what to do the file is zip but I used WinRAR to zip it. Does that effect the outcome??

Have you tried it again after waiting a while?

still no luck. I was reading around a bit and discovered methods with 7 zip so I will give that a shot.

make sure the method used to zip the mod is deflate

yea switched to 7zip did the deflate thing..made sure my Json file had no capitals. still getting Status:  Invalid. Mod works on my end....guess ill be the only factorialite toting a pulse rifle

mind uploading a screenshot?

Was that today per chance maybe something up with servers?

Another way of hosting it, and it's definitely small enough, is to attach it to a forum post somewhere over here. That's why I'm not the only player taking pollution damage despite having a much more serious problem with the mod portal. (Problem TL;DR: I get a "FORBIDDEN" error, which implies my account is blocked from uploading.)

Going OT: My mod appears to be rather unpopular, probably because it is rather un-Factorio-like to be that environmentally friendly. It the sprites, it's obvious the guy is wearing a respirator from the moment he lands. *gasp* Maybe he's one of those kids all growed up!
