This is probably a silly question, but I can't find any answer to it anywhere.
I would like to know whether it is possible to make permanent option changes.
I don't want to have music and I also change the WASD keys, but I have to reset them every time I start again, and even if I then load a previously saved game, I still have to redo all my option changes.
Please help!

Option changes should be permanent, if they are not then try the following while Factorio is closed:

• Go to %appdata%\Factorio (press Win+R to open the run dialog and enter that)
• Delete the config folder

A few days later, I finally closed and reopened Factorio: Success!
Your method worked just fine, now I have it working with my favorite preferences.
