I'm brand new to modding in factorio, and I have some questions about using the game's sprites.

I was planning to do something with additional bots, and I wanted to expand the existing technologies and items. I wanted to alter the existing sprites, but also add new ones.

Is there any legal thing that would prevent me from using the game's icons? If this has been answered anywhere, please tell me. Like I said, I'm brand new and just figuring out what's okay and what is not.

You are allowed to use/modify the game's graphics for the purpose of making mods for Factorio.

Are you allowed to use them to make things like out-of-game blueprint renderers/editors?
