Greetings Factorio players and creators

I have played Factorio for a while now, I have become well addicted to it, and I'm still building on my very first open world I started.
I have however run into an issue, every now and then I can't seem to place blueprints. Normally there's something in the way, but other times there's really nothing showing red or virtually anything in the way.

As you can see, this is definitely not the first time I used the blueprint, and it has been working so far. But for no reason whatsoever it doesn't seem to be working now.
I already used the deconstruction planner, I have removed a border around the blueprint, but it simply won't be put down. At the same time I was able to place one down on the right side while still not being able to place it here.

Can anybody shed some light on this? Am I so colorblind that I'm overlooking a red object? Is there an ongoing bug of some sorts?

Please do help, making these things manually is a lot of work and causes a bunch of frustration.

If this persists after 0.10 is released (should be this Friday) I'd suggest you post a message (+ a saved game) in the thread linked above...

Thanks for the reply, I think it could be the same issue as the topic you linked. Strangely enough it somehow sorted itself. I was able to place it after visiting again like 3 ingame days later.

Just to test where it went wrong, I recreated the scenario by playing 4 of those blueprints around a center spot where the blueprint would fit, and it again didn't work. I then recreated the blueprint and I was able to place it down without any issue.
I'm not sure if there's something going wrong with the area of just placed objects that resets itself over time, or if it maybe matters how you make your selection (not too big) when creating the blueprint.

Regardless, I do think this needs to be looked into, if it isn't already fixed in the upcoming patch. If necessary I'd be happy to oblige my save game.

Try save and load game. It work for me.
