I was wondering if it would be capable to develop a machine that requests logistic bots of a certain type to land in it and not leave. This would be so that the bots can be removed from the tower and upgraded into higher tier (mk1-mk4) bots.

I'm currently doing a playthrough of bob's mods and the bots get exponentially better as the research progresses. The lower tier bots are actually becoming a bottleneck because they're transporting the requested items instead of the higher tier bots.

What I was thinking was that I would take the requester chest, duplicate it, and have the bots insert themselves instead of an item they might be carrying. If a chest can't do it, then a roboport that won't release them once they land.
