To summarize my problem, which should be shown in the screenshot, terrain isn't loading in. Trees and stone load in fine, but the rest... I am playing on a Mac OS X Sierra. This happens every time I open the game, although it looks different each time.

If this does not do it, then post your log.

I looked at the ways to fix it through the steam launch options and they say Windows only. Is there another way to do it from there on my Mac?

Try the --max-texture-size=4096 launch option, it also works on Mac. Only the --force-xxx options are for Windows only.

We usually don't delete these posts. Other people might have the same issues and they can find the solution easier if there already is an existing thread that has the correct answer.
