So I decided to expand my base, by about two fold, just because and when it was good and clear of biters I started to instruct my robots to fill the area with concrete, lights, robo-ports, and power. It took the robots a good 20 minutes just to realize that they needed to start building and they've been very sporadic ever sense. The pictures attached are the state it is currently in as of writing this it has been sitting there for about 10 mins with no more progress as all of my robots just sit in robo-ports while there is work to be done.

From what I've heard, giving such huge amount of build orders at once has a really bad impact on the way robots are dispatched. Basically all the orders are considered one by one and with thousands of orders it can take minutes for the system to go thru them all. And what's worst the negative effect wont go away as long as those orders are still active.

Cancel most of it and give orders in smaller chunks, I think that should help make it a lot faster.
