How many roboports do I have?

So, other than counting them by hand, is there a way to find out how many roboports I have on my base? I'm asking because I'm trying to make sure all the robots have a home to go to. Each roboport could store 350 robots in their inventory, and I'm getting close to 20k robots flying around, so I am just trying to be prepared and make sure I don't run out of roboports. Which brings the next question, what happens to the robots when they don't have a home to go to?

If you have one continuous electric network you could click one powerpole (of any size) and it would tell you the electric usage and how many roboports you have. Otherwise you are reliant on a mod like advanced logistic network.
I do not actually know the answer to your second question. But i think it would not be disastrous, they would rather float around aimlessly untill a spot opens up.

Awesome, thanks Pieter! I now know I have absolutely nothing to fear in the near future. I apparently have 262 roboports, so that should keep things going up to about 90k robots or so... By then, I fear my computer will melt anyway :) (Although, so far, I haven't seen any major impact/lag)

Just because you have 262 roboports it doesn't mean it will work up to 90k robots (I assume you calculated 262 x 350, 350 being robots per roboport).
Robots do also need to charge at roboports and a single roboport is just not able to keep 350 robots charged continuously. If there are many robots hovering over a roboport this is the result of it not keeping up, my advice is to build a second roboport next to it then the robots can share them.

I don't have any exact numbers and I don't know of anyone who calculated this, but according to https://wiki.factorio.com/Robotic_netwo ... ic_network it's around 50-100 robots per roboport.

Robots don't have a fixed home. After they're done they will go to the next free roboport in reach (see here for details) to charge and then stay there. If there is no free roboport in the robotic network then they will simply hover at the current place (e.g. above a requester chest) and slowly lose charge, similar to the way construction robots do when there is no free storage chest to put items in.

Yeah, I noticed that I didn't have enough charging stations for my bots, so I installed that mod... hmmm can't remember the name now, but it's a roboport charging station. So i have clusters of those in the busier areas, and so far, not too bad.. I did have to increase my solar power by a lot tho...

I knew they don't have a specific home, but I was just wondering (and you answered that) what happened when all the roboports were filled up, and robots had nothing to do...

Thanks for that :)
