Windows 7 64bit. Pause the game in map screen. Power off monitor. Turn monitor back on. Map appears 95% black with only a few entities visible. Unpausing the game resolves the issue.
It gave me a good scare. But nothing more. I don't expect this to get any priority

That's expected. It can't refresh the map when the game is paused and the map is lost when you power off the monitor/switch displays.

Simply un-pause and it does what it needs to do to restore the normal images.
