In reading all that I can on this subject, it would seem that the Underground Belt should be in the logistics menu but it isn't. I have the Transport Belt but nothing next to it where I would assume the Underground Belt should be in the menu. Help as I don't know what to do to find or access it.

You have to research them before you can build them-the tech you're looking for is called "logistics".

If you have already done the reasearch, press e, then ctrl+f, and type in "underground".

If this STILL does not work, you'll need to use a console command to reset your research.

I have researched logistics and have tried the E and Cntrl f and Underground to no success. Doing a console command is above my knowledge but will do with instructions. Would a reboot, a new game or reinstalling the game solve the problem? Thanks for your help!

I've searched my computer and cannot find the Factorio game or the saved files. Tell me where to find them and I'll post a saved game.

but you have not researched underground belt yet - you need to research it first as fractalman said already
