Landfill can be place on top of a pump.

A pump can be placed in the water, then landfill can be used to fill the water where the pump originally resided, and the pump will still work until destroyed, where afterwards you can clearly see that the landfill filled in the water completely.

This has already been reported as a bug, but was considered not to be a bug :
