So im creating a mod with a friend and we are wondering how all the mod makers create all of their good looking sprites.
Is there any program for that?
I have many ideas for machines but I am not a good spriter...
hope anyone has an idea.

There are different methods, the easiest might be through 3d modeling and rendering, but some talented people can also do it through pixel art.

For 3d modeling use any app that suits you, I use Cinema 4d as does yuoki, other use blender or 3dmax. It really comes down to preference and how available the apps are to you.
There are also tutorials on the forum for setting up blender and cinema 4d for rendering sprites for factorio. Aside from that you can always request gfx in the thread mentioned above, but maybe have to wait for someone to response, if you do be sure to give a detailed description and maybe a sketch of what you are expecting.
